Madison Hose Co. 1 Handles Structure Fire on Wall Street

Last night at approximately 6:05pm Madison Hose Company # 1 was dispatched for a possible structure fire at 817 Boston Post Road. The initial alarm included an engine and tanker from North Madison, Guilford for RIT, an engine from Clinton, and Madison EMS. Madison Hose Assists Injured Hiker

At approximately 10:08am yesterday morning, Madison Hose was dispatched to assist Madison EMS with a downed hiker along Indigo Woods Trail near the Neck River. The fire department’s all-terrain vehicle (ATV) was used to access the patient, who had a knee injury and was not able to ambulate. Winter Storm Keeps Madison Hose Company # 1 Busy

Members of Madison Hose Company # 1 spent much of yesterday responding to emergencies throughout the duration of the storm. Multiple calls for wires down, transformer fires, flooding and high water conditions, and carbon monoxide alarms were handled as well as a call for a tree on a garage, a chimney fire, a possible structure fire, a motor vehicle accident and assisting a motorist with exiting their ... Car Fire at I-95 Northbound Rest Area

Last night at approximately 8:18 PM Madison Hose Company # 1 was dispatched for a possible motor vehicle fire at the I-95 Northbound rest area. Initial calls to 911 reported a pick-up truck with blue smoke coming from the engine compartment by the gas pumps.
Captain Carroll, Car 201, the first fire unit on scene, reported a fully involved vehicle fire.

On September 23, 2022, Madison Hose Company No. 1 reached a significant milestone in our history, the 115th anniversary of our organization. Since being officially formed on September 23, 1907 by 17 charter members, the volunteer firefighters of Madison Hose have provided continuous fire and rescue protection to the Madison community.
