At approximately 7:27 AM this morning, units from Madison Hose Company # 1, were dispatched to 21 Boston Post Road for a possible motor vehicle fire. MHC Car 202 was first on scene and confirmed a working car fire next to the structure with exposure issues. Because of the close proximity to the structure, an upgraded assignment was dispatched bringing resources from North Madison Volunteer Fire Company.

Arriving fire units launched an aggressive initial attack, with hand lines stretched and placed in operation. Swift work by fire units on scene made a quick knock down of the fire. Incident Command lead by MHC Car 201 placed the call under control at 7:41.
